JIHS Hackathon 2025

The development of technology and innovation in the digital era demands that the young generation and society at large possess critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills to face global challenges. One way to foster innovation in the world of technology is through a Hackathon.

What is a Hackathon?

A Hackathon is an intensive competition that challenges participants to develop technology-based solutions within a specific timeframe. In this event, participants work in teams to design, build, and present innovative products or prototypes. Hackathons often focus on the development of applications, software, or other technological solutions that can provide positive impacts on various existing problems.

As an effort to prepare high school students and the general public to face global challenges and enhance technological skills, Politeknik Jakarta Internasional, in collaboration with ComsNets Indonesia, intends to organize a competition called the JIHS Hackathon 2025. This event is designed as a platform for participants to develop skills in technological innovation, teamwork, and problem-solving.

The event will carry the theme "Innovating for a Sustainable Future", aiming to encourage participants to create innovative solutions addressing global issues such as climate change, education, health, and sustainable development.

Participant Categories:

• Student Category – High school or university students who want to hone their technological and innovative skills in a competitive yet supportive learning environment.
• General Category – Open to members of the public and professionals interested in taking on technological challenges to create impactful solutions.

DAY 1: Friday, 25 April 2025

• 08:00-09:00: Registration
• 09:00-09:40: Opening Ceremony (Welcome Speech & Photo Session)
• 09:40-10:00: Competition Briefing
• 10:00-11:30: Competition Preparation
• 11:30-13:00: Lunch Break & Friday Prayer
• 13:00-18:00: Competition Begins
• 18:00-20:00: Break for Prayer, Rest, and Dinner
• 20:00-07:00: Continued Competition (Overnight)

DAY 2: Saturday, 26 April 2025

• 07:00-08:00: Breakfast
• 08:00-10:00: Continued Competition
• 10:00-10:30: Coffee Break
• 10:30-12:00: Continued Competition
• 12:00-13:00: Lunch Break
• 13:00-15:00: Continued Competition
• 15:00-16:00: Project Presentation before the Judges
• 16:00-17:00: Announcement of Winners and Award Ceremony
• 17:00: Closing Remarks

• ✅ Participants must agree to all competition rules.
• 🚨 Disqualification will occur if there are discrepancies in registration.
